Calimineros is a company of 160 mining families from California (Santander), a municipality located in eastern Colombia. They, who previously operated illegally, achieved formalization thanks to the technical, legal, social and economic support of the Soto Norte Project.

Today, they represent 32% of the population of their Community and work to preserve the mining ancestry of their territory and the coexistence between industry and small-scale mining, and to become a leading company in small-scale mining, with operation and exploitation of gold deposits, meeting the highest standards of quality and environmental protection.
